Planning on Community Based Conservation Effort on Local Butterflies species in Bantimurung, South Sulawesi
Project Development Goal :
To establish community based effort model on local butterfly conservation in Bantimurung.
Project Objectives :
1. To conduct biological assessment necessary related to area management
2. To conduct socio economic assessment related to conservation effort and sustainable livelihood
3. To facilitate and enhance community participation in establishing participatory planning in sustainable conservation management
4. To identify opportunity in developing environmentally friendly economic activities
Expected Outputs :
1. Analysis on biological data and recommendation on conservation effort
2. Analysis on socio economic of the community
3. Compilation of full proposal with involvement of local community and other stakeholders, which supported by sufficient data and strong analysis in conservation effort and development of environmentally friendly economic activities, to be submitted to GEF/SGP

A. Village meetings
B. Stakeholder meetings
2. Survey and data collection :
A. Participatory mapping
B. Cross visit
C. Drafting comprehensive strategy involving stakeholders collaboration
3. Proposal development and submission
