Grassland succession was reduced and habitats in seashore meadows have been improved in the area of 20ha. Project management faults have indicated that it is necessary to make a very detailed work plan and gain trust of local communities, while in cases when animals purchased from grant resources are given to community members, all conditions of use should be negotiated in advance and legal contracts should be prepared beforehand.
Inovaton: Zemaitukai horses (ancient Lithuanian breed), wire-haired sheep and goats would have been chosen for grazing grasslands and thus contributing to preserving unique ecosystems and old Lithuanian breed gene pool.
