Using molecular analysis to identify the genetic relatives of selected crops
The project aims at using molecular analysis to identify the genetic relatives of selected crops and eventually providing specific information on the plants? morphological classification, it will contribute to the conservation and preservation of important wild relatives of agricultural species by introducing modern techniques of molecular analysis, strengthening the local capacities, building information base and documenting the indigenous knowledge of the farmers in a participatory manner.
