The main componnets of the projects shall be conservation and retrieval of seeds which includes network building for seed exchange and propagation, adoption of 40 traditional rice varieties, development of resource center for seed propagation and back-up seeds storage, and research, publications which includes distribution of modules/primers in popular form, and databanking on seed conservation.
