Project?s objectives are: 1. Documentation of the traditional knowledge of the local Bedouin in the Mediterranean Coastal Zone of Egypt relevant to the components of biodiversity. 2. Recording the endangered components of biodiversity in the region, with a special reference to the wild medicinal plants and other economically important species. 3. Disseminating of knowledge among the various stakeholders, especially scientists to help them developing this knowledge to conform with the modern knowledge.
