The objective of the video documentary would be to share with national as well as international institutions and individuals the experiences of the GEF/SGP programme approaches and process that can be adapted. The documentary would also be considered as a too for reviewing the performance of GEF/SGP projects. The documentary would focus on the programme's ongoing strategies regarding programme visibility, transparency, capacity building, community mobilisation, sustainability, collaboration and involvement of different stakeholders, gender and equity issues, micro-macro linkages and policy implications.

The documentary would focus on sharing the immediate experiences of the GEF/ SGP project communities. How are the local related to the projects? How do they see their upliftment with the intervention of GEF/ SGP projects? How do they realise the importance of the environmental conservation activities? What are the roles and perspectives of the local line agencies? Answerers to these queries will be explored in the documentary.

The output of the project is to prepare 20-30 min documentary of SGP programme worth telecasting via Nepal Television. The grantee would also prepare project visual profiles of at least five individual projects of about 15 minutes each. In addition, the grantee would also compile successful case studies.
