Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
As means of promoting public awareness of the global environment, booklets and video shows were the communication tools that were used and conveyed/showed local people the environmental impacs and effects and consequences that affect the communities and their livelihood after such unsustainable environmental developments took place. These methods were seen as powerful and effective communication materials resulting in collective decisions to protect and sustainably use their environment.
