Background:- The large stakeholders have a financial intrest in and benifit from the WHS and preently participate in different roles in the utilization of its assets. These organizations also ahve certain resources and management capability that can contribute to the WHS development.
work in COMPACT is focussed on the communities neighboring the WHS. It is necessary as part of the national collaborative approach to the WHS to include the other stakeholders in isues relating to the WHS.
To complement the initial baseline assessment through a wider consultation with major stakeholders of the WHS, including the private sector. This meeting will be the first attempt to build collaboration with a broader range of organizations and groups beyond local communities and members of the LCB.
Project Objectives.- To share experiences of different stakeholders re their interactions with the WHS and to explore mechanisms for collaboration re its sustainability.

workshop in three parts where invited organizations willdo a 10 minute presentation on how they interact with the WHS.(2) Challenges facing the stakeholders with respect to their interactions with the WHS (3) recommendations/ideas for greater collaboration among all stakeholders withrespect to the sustainability of the WHS.
