Capacity Building of Local Jakun Communities at Tanjong Keruing in the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Wild Orchids and Practice of Sutainable Livelihoods.
Development of full project through: (i)Discussions with Universities on ways to identify endangered wild orchids and to set up sustainable orchid gardens. (ii)Discussions with NGO, research instituitions,government agencies and the District office of the Pahang state government.(iii)Discussions with Orang Asli of Kg.Keruing and Kg.Air Hitam and formulating an action plan. (iv) Formulation of roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders and management commmittee.
