Workshops for Identification of Selection Methods and Criteria for Areas of Priority Importance for Biodiversity and Implementation of Those in Conservation Area Selection
A series of three workshops, which aim at the identification of methods and criteria in conservation area selection and the ways these can be implemented in practice, are planned. The target audience is those who are interested and representatives from the public institutions that are responsible from the selection of conservation areas. The NGO will be in close contact with the Project Management Team of the full size GEF project, Biodiversity and Natural Resources Management, as one of the components of that project is to establish protected area management prototypes that can be replicated throughout the country.
