Involvement of the local community and youth of Talgar area into the activity on conservation of biodiversity of Zailiisky Alatau mountain range.
The project is aimed at involving of the local population, youth and teenagers into active nature protection activity to conserve biodiversity of Zailiisky Alatau mountain range.

A large-scale information campaign will be implemented to attract attention of the local population to the issues of rehabilitation and conservation of biodiversity of the region. For that, and also to involve the youth into environmental activities, ?ecological landings? of young ecologists of among of schoolchildren of Talgar city and nearby settlements will be arranged (100 participants are expected to be engaged), actions will be implemented, excursions, lectures, conversations with local communities will be held. Organization of ecological camp with support of the Ile-Alatau National Park will take place, willow seedlings will be distributed among the schools to be further planted, cleansing of vacation spots will be done by united forces of the local community and young ecologists, informational boards will be set up on the project territory. The project activities will be highlighted in mass-media.

Capacity - Building Component
The project focuses on attraction of the young environmentalists into the nature protecting activities. To reach this goal a summer camp will be established. The youth with the local community will place information nature protection boards on the territory of the Ile-Alatau National park. A number of lectures for the local people with assitance of biologists will be conducted. Action on trees planting will take place.
