It has a significant value for conservation of the Kazakhstan nature, and also takes important place in the international system of protected natural territories, it's widely known to the world community. However the local population living in a buffer zone of the reserve, doesn't realize the necessity to preserve its unique nature. A series of activities will be realised to share information among the population, such as mass-agitation actions (celebratory processions, concerts, "pen doors" days at schools and local authorities); nature protection actions; spreading information about the reserve originality; environmental competitions, etc. It's expected to cover 9 villages round the Reserve within the project activity.
