Capacity of these VOs will be built and linkages with the line agencies will be developed to such an extent that these bodies are capable enough to carry out the activities after the proposed project time is over. They will be given training to record minutes of their meetings, raise funds from within the community to solve common problems, maintain record of their financial transactions and manage the community refues during and afte the project is over.

The VOs and WCs wold have an executive body to ensure implementation of the decisons takeon on these fora. To reach a decision and that too with the consent of the local people, calling grand meetings of the village facilitated by respective VOs would be a basis for future participatory decisions.

The project is designed to conserve biodivertiy of the area through ensuring ecosystem management (ecosystem approach) with the active involvement of the local people and concerned line agencies. To infuse a collective responsibility to the protection of wildlife four Village Organiations (VOs) and as many Women Committees (WCs) will be organized comprising at least one person from each household of the village. Each VO will have an executive body - of which the Imam of mosque, field staff of the wildlife department and the project will be members to regularly hold meetings to review the progress of activities besides assisting in organizing grand meetings of the respective village as and when needed.

Women committees (WCs) will also be organized comprising at least one person from each household of the village. Creation of women committees is justified in this context because violation will be critized even from within the home if women are sufficiently sensitized to the importance of the project activities. Efforts will also be made to educate women in personal hygience, proper garbage disposal, kitchen gardening and other income generaiton techniques as a form of alternatives to reducing reliance on natural resources particularly wildlife for subsistence.
