Prevention of deer nursery fence from flashfloods by rehabilitation riverside forests.
Main idea of the project is protection of riverbanks through planting trees and bushes and using traditional prevention methods against flashflood. The flash flood threats to Deer nursery. Deer nursery is main object of eco-tourism interest in this area.
The basic components of the project are:
1. Construction of the protective dam, by traditional national method (seypai). The length of the dam is 60 meters.
2. Strengthening the river bank by planting the willow (1000 pieces), poplar (600 pieces) and black currant bushes (350 pieces).
3. Training local population to look after saplings of wood and bush vegetation.

Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Assistance in conservation and reproduction of marals - endemic is direct contribution into conservation of a global biodiversity. During training actions and information campaign this conclusion will be emphasized
Notable Community Participation
Plantings were distributed among the families, which are members of the family association "Iyri-Suu ". The works on construction of the protective dam were carried out collectively. Distribution the plots of the plantation was done after collective discussion. The population is interested in the project because they understand, that protection of maral nursery is a guarantee of jobs and attraction of tourists.
