Introduction of individual household biogas-units in Issyk-Kul region
The aim of the project is demonstration of ecological and economic advantages of using the small volume (5m3-10 m3 ) biogas installations .The project is realized in Issyk-Kul biosphere territory.
The basic components of the project are:
- The construction of 3 biogas installations in Kyzyl-Suu, Barskon, Saruu villages of Dzhety-Oguz district.
- The analysis of operating experience.
- Dissemination of experience
- Training of potential users

Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
It will be emphasized, that biogas installations not only are economically effective, but also they reduce pollution of an atmosphere by ?greenhouse? gases.
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
The installation will give humus fertilizer which will allow to cut expenses for purchase of mineral fertilizers and even to sell surpluses of humus fertilizer, besides the produced biogas. Itroduction of biogas installations will reduce using kezek (dried manure), there by to improve the sanitary conditions both inside dwelling and in a court yard.
