The people of Bufumbo Subcounty, Mbale district, were involved in the participatory approach of designing a full project proposal using the Planning Grant

The project?s activities is to work with families and use the acquired technologies to establish in their individual homes practical improvements including: water and soil conservation trenches, planting soil enriching trees and grasses, establishing woodlots, backyard nutrition fruit and vegetable gardens, constructing energy saving stoves, etc.

The target group will be mainly the mothers of the 400 most affected families, especially in Kirahi, Jewa, and Bubyangu Parishes
