Capacity - Building Component
Improving the capacity of the traffic technicians in both the Municipality of Gaza and the Ministry of Transport and get them involved in the data collection and preparation of the study and the technical report.
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Raising awareness through advocating the idea of the project among official agencies (government, municipalities and donor agencies) aiming at replicating the project idea and reinforcing the application of traffic regulations in Gaza City, launching community awareness campaign through publishing newspaper article, distributing 5000 copies of the brochure and installing traffic signs to raise the awareness of the drivers on the new system and conducting one-day disseminating workshop to present the findings of the study.
