For a lasting coexistence between beaver and man in Poland
growing and expanded geographically population of beaver in Poland brings conflicts , economic loses, and growing will within farmers ,affected by beavers activities (flooded fields, meadows) final extermination of the biggest "enymy" for them.
The main objective of the project i to minimalize or elimination of conflicts between beaver's normal behavour and various aspects of of human economic activities. Methods worked out and checked in USA and canada will be implemented. solution to local conflicts should show that problems brought by beavers can be solved without killing them or destructing their dams/habitats.
Workshops for state administartion of various levels who are responsible for compensation .
Inventory of individual conflicts/situations based on questionaires sent earlier - planned 150 cases(sites)..
Model construction of some facilities (fencing valuable trees,cultivation, by-passe, culverts under roads and eart banksjere to Elimination of conflict
