Within the project were rehabilitated 400 ha of forest by reconstruction of irrigation system.
On the territory of 1000 ha was organized conservation regime.
Illegal cutting as minimum of 600 trees was prevented and it save BD resources on 100 000 USD.
10 families and 50 individual benefited from project implementation
Materials that were collected within the project helped for including of Ash into the 3 national policy documents regulating conservation of BD.
also:
-The Caryn National Park has been established;
- The ashen wood has become a part of the National Park, and the wood's status of the State Nature Sanctuary has been kept;
- Due to the channel restoration, over 600 hectares of the ashen wood have been supplied with water;
- 3.5 hectares of the ash nursery have been restored;
- The ash nursery and the entire plantings dode are taken care of the National Park,the costs of the ash plantings tendance are included into the National Park's budget for 2006-2007, the personnel to implement the works has been fixed;
- information panels and boards have been established on the and around the territory of the ashen wood;
- A complex of fire-prevention actions has been implemented, The NAtional Park has been provide with fire-prevention equipment;
- The project was widely highlighted in mass-media: over 50 mass-media has visited the project terrotiry, 9 video-broadcasts on local, republican and international TV channels (including BBC) have been demonstrated, 3 articles have been published;
- 200 booklets and 100 posters have been widespread.
