Planning on Community Participation Program in Dieng Conservation Efforts
Project development goal:
To increase community participation in management and development of Dieng conservation program, with collaborative effort from other stakeholders within the area.
Project objectives:
1. To identify community?s role toward conservation plan as a whole
2. To identify community?s potential economic activities to be develop, to stimulate the alternative source of income with regard to nature conservation effort
3. To increase and strengthen NGOs capacity in developing sound conservation plan with regard to community?s welfare
4. To increase collaboration and strengthen coordination, especially among NGOs involving in Mitra Dieng network
5. To compile a workable workplan in increasing community?s participation program
6. To develop a commitment among the attendees to implement the community participation program, resulted from the workshop

1. Preparation.
a) Identify participants
b) Identify venue
c) Information dissemination
d) Draft agenda
2. Outreach Approach.
Disseminate the invitations
3. Evaluation and Reporting.

Anticipated result of project :
1. Identification of the root of problems and potentiality of community?s involvement in conservation effort
2. Identification of potential economic activities to be developed for local community, with regard to the overall conservation effort
3. Increasing capacity of NGOs involving in the network in compiling a sound conservation program
4. Increasing understanding, collaboration and commitment among NGOs involving in the network
5. Compiling a sound workplan to be implemented with regard to community?s participation and involvement
6. Establishment of commitment among the attendees to pursue the program activities, resulted from the workshop
