Project Objectives :
1. To provide environmentally friendly energy alternative
2. To provide education media and raising awareness on energy alternative
3. To build the knowledge on sound utilization of the nature resources
4. To increase community?s standard of living through developing economic activities using the
electricity produced
5. To increase community?s awareness and community involvement in conserving the water
catchment area in Seloliman?s protected forest
6. To establish a strong cooperative, which will manage and maintain the facility and it?s related activities (such as revolving fund for productive activities)
7. To establish community?s shared ownership (manage through cooperative) of the microhydro facility

Expected Outputs :
1. Optimized uses of nature resource (water) in sustainable way
2. The production of electricity through the uses of local resources (water)
3. The increased awareness of the local community on the benefit of sustainable nature resource
4. The emergence of educational media for community through the establishment of microhydro facility
5. The emergence of productive uses of electricity
6. The increased community welfare and education support activities
7. The strong capacity of the cooperative in managing and maintaining microhydro facility, in a proper manner
8. A clear ownership scheme by the community of the microhydro facility
