Local Community Based Nature Resources Management
Project development goal:
Well developed community based nature resource management supported by Government policy
Project objectives:
1. To empower local community in managing the nature resources
2. To increase local community capability in utilizing the resources in a sustainable way
3. To induce the emergence of government policy which regard to community welfare, environmentally friendly and support the traditional wisdom in managing the nature resources
Anticipated result of project :
1. The emergence of 4 villages having capable community in managing nature resource in sustainable way
2. The increased capability of local community in utilize the nature resource in sustainable way
3. The emergence of local government policy which support community involvement in managing the nature resource and accommodate the traditional wisdom in executing nature resource management
Activities to be carried out under the project :
In correlating with output 1 : community empowerment, the activities will be :
1. Workshop in project planning within and among hamlets
2. Training for Trainer for the identified local facilitator
3. Training in Community Organizing for local community
4. Training in Participatory Rural Appraisal
5. Field study among local community
6. Development of local nature resources
In correlating with output 2 : Policy Advocacy, the activities will be :
1. Area Participatory Mapping
2. Study on Forest Resources Potentials
3. Study on the existing policy
4. Training in Critical Education for local community
5. The establishment of Strategic Information System
6. Conference ? press release
7. Policy dialogue
8. Workshop on project result
In correlating with the output 3 : Program Monitoring, the activities will be :
1. Monitoring
2. Evaluation
3. Reporting
