Notable Community Participation
The people of bojali sub-division where the people had been affected by the flood of Pohumara &loosing there crops, assets and lives most of the year. They will embrace their project for which they are ready to sacrifice their services as necessary for successful implementation .Discussion have been done with the community and they agreed to contribute all their cooperation in which labor and other necessary in time.
Working and APEX committee formed. Increase involvement &sharing the job responsibility. Involvement of govt. administration and make them aware their part of responsibility in the project. Training started on modern agricultural technology as stated in the proposal started .Farmers took training during this quarter. Reservoir prepared for storage of excess water .Total 150 farmers received various modern technological knowledge of agriculture .50 youth got Pisyculture training. Various agro-based industries come up by individual entrepreneurs. Huge employment generated from the agriculture, pisyculture and agro-based industries. Developed ecology in the area due to huge plantation as well as awareness building.
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
This project has certainly impact upon the ecological balance due to their water & land management .About 2 lakh trees will grow under this project for which will protect the erosion of the embankment .Apart from that lakh of people will come under the socio-economic development which also has an impact globally
