Introduction of bicycle transport in the center of recreation zone of Yssik-Kul biosphere territory
Main idea of the project is promotion and introduction of environmentally friendly and sustainable transport by creating bicycle hiring posts and advocacy of non motorized transport in the recreation zone of national importance.

3. Organize bicycle stations for rent.

Project Characteristics and Results
Capacity - Building Component
Executive NGO gets experience of work in urban ecology, becomes the owner of bicycle station and small repair enterprise. The population gets new technical skills on operation of bicycles and their repair.
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
It is expected that the project will create at minimum 21 working places (3 places for 1 rent station) not counting working places in small repair enterprise. The population will reduce the transport charges. The ecological parameters will be improved. The planned scheme of reception of the incomes from rent of bicycles and their repair provide long-term stability of the project and economic interest of the population
