Project fully implemented.Viviarium was established in Zamosc ZOO, getting more and more visitors, interested in information billboards and brochure, being one of the biggest attraction (native local animal, symbol of Lublin voivodship!);
Reserve Gliniska is prepared for souslik resettlement from Swidnik airport; in most of the souslik colonies when attempts of restoriation of cattle breeding is not possible mechanical mowing was organised succesfully ; restoration of pasture functions is long-term target and it cannot be based on wishful thinking and depend on changing conditions in agriculture;project managers reached some agreements with big farmers and cooperation was established (breeding in cetrain parts of pasture brought vsible results in the growth of sousli population - example of Susle Wzgorza (souslik ills) reserve where mechanical mowing and cattle breeding caused growth od popukation from 39-75 to 342 sousliks.
It was agreed that due to some savings (also caused by changing exchange rate for dollar) GEF/SGP will not participate in publication of updated brochure, but concentrate on publication of the first monography (book).This will be done beyond initial duration of project and project will be extended just because of this single reason.
