COMMUNITY-BASED MANGROVE CONSERVATION
Conservation of mangrove ecosystem through replanting using local mangrove species and capability building.It is expected that the project shall also be able to reduce indiscriminate cutting of mangroves for fuel wood, housing and fencing materials as well as strengthen the organized community-based fisherfolks and coastal women in Brgy. San Antonio.Protection of the coastal resources especially the mangroves would also protect the nursery/spawning grounds of aquatic and marine species including commercially important species, thereby assuring source of livelihood.

Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
Mangrove Ecosystem conservation will focus on mangrove reforestation using local mangrove species. This will also provide lievlihood opprtunities to the members of the association as well as other members of the community. One of the possible income generating project is the sale of propagules to other commuter which are also engaged in mangrove projects.
