Project development Goal :
To conserve Rawa Aopa conservation area through community based sustainable nature resource management
Project Objectives :
1. To increase community welfare through effective post harvest management
2. To increase community capacity in post harvest management utilizing Solar Thermal Dryer
3. To increase land productivity through effective plant management
4. To reduce land conversion due to increasing land productivity
Expected output :
a. Increased farming product?s price so that increasing community?s income
b. Increased community?s capacity in post harvest management especially by utilizing STD
c. Emergence of reliable community?s organization in managing sustainable activities
d. Emergence of fund management system e.g : revolving fund
e. Increased land productivity due to effective plant management
f. Reduced land conversion due to increasing land productivity

3. PRA and participatory planning development

1. Strengthening and increasing community?s capacity :
a. in technical as well as organizational management
b. cross visit
2. Implementation of Solar Thermal Dryer
a. develop unit design based on local condition
b. unit installation
c. training on unit management
d. implementation of revolving fund
3. Establishment of demonstration project
a. training on effective cacao farming and post harvest management
b. market survey and access development
4. Outreach and publication
a. material production : poster, book on lessons learned, manual on STD management
b. distribution
5. Stakeholders collaboration
