The results of this project were good, in light of the heavy commitment made by the participants towrd reaching the objectives. All materials which were intended as purchases were effectively acquired and put to good use, with the exception of a camera and and a wax machine which was converted in to training for the smallholders. The activities were equally carried out with success. Honey production has been started, but results haven't come ion yet. 7500 seedlings were transferred from the plant nurseries to the field. The objectives of the project were thus attained, with special mention to the environmental education, which brought awareness to many of the families in the settlements. The community members felt benefits not only to the environment, but also to the organization and its relationship with the members. Apart from the re-introduction of native bee species and fruit trees, the environmental education has made the smallholders reduce the use of agrotoxins in their crops and work towrd recovering the springs in the region. The main difficuly faced was in the commercailization of the production. Despite the initial stage of the process, with no significant production to produce results, the barrier of commercializing the honey has already been met. A need for consolidation of similar experiences has been identified as a means of overcoming the barriers.
