Community based rehabilitation of spring
Springs are vital sources to support human life and wild animals in dry climate of Mongolia. Springs are being dried up even in northern Mongolia where forest and forest steppes dominate. The grant is to protect a splash spring which feeds surrounding ecosystem and supports livelihoods of a local community to contribute to protection of trans-boundary waters with future intension to develop the spring as a tourist-attractive point. Some initial activities have been taken in place.
