Ecology and School
As the country has been undergoing major reforms to shift into a market economy, school teaching programmes are also being renewed to shift to 11year study for school children. As the study on ecology is incorporated in several different subjects of school teaching pragrammes, there is no special or independent subject on ecology alone. This grant is to develop a Programme for Ecological Education for school children, to establish Eco-cabinet at Tsetserleg high school, and to involve school children in protecting Bulgan Mountain Nature Reserve. Posters and teaching materials are being developed to be tested in Tsetserleg high school. More will be given when materials are issued.
