Sementes Patrimônio das Comunidades Tradicionais
Sementes Patrimônio das Comunidades Tradicionais
This project aims to protect the genetic heritage of traditional seeds in smallholder farms in the Southwestern Mato Grosso, involving eight municipalities. It will ensure peasant control of seed multiplication, guaranteeing family sustainability and providing diffusion of the activities through seed exchanges among communities and regions in the state. A seed bank will be created for environmentally sound creole varietal seeds.
