This project is for production of a catalog presenting products made by different projects supported by SGP Brazil, as a means of making visible sustainable production based on the biodiversity in the Cerrado. Disseminating the catalog, business possibilities will be created and amplified for these products and the involved producer organizations will be strengthened, which will contribute to conservation of the Cerrado biome by keeping native plant cover standing and avoiding deforestation.

Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
Communities which choose to keep the Cerrado standing rather than tearing it down for monoculture are considered to be rendering social and environmental services. The catalog will help bring these communities into the spotlight and to overcome the commercialization barrier which many small scale producers face.
Inovative Financial Mechanisms
The catalog will enable direct sales by the communities, dispensing the need for a middleman. This will ensure that the money for the products reaches the desired ends.
