The publication is going to be disributed alongside the "No to GMO" Campaign. It is believed to create a profound public interest and may provide guidance to the central government.
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
The publication, while debating the health risks thay may be associated with the GMO use in foodstuffs, also underlining the possible adverse effects of GMO use from an ecosystem point of view. Particulaly the use of GMO crops to create genetic problems in some main crops such as wheat, barley etc. especilaly becuase most of these species are believed to be originated from Anatolian peninsula.
