The Kara-Koyun plot is the favorable wintering and mating place of Central Asian tortoise (Agrionemys horsfieldi), steppe viper (Vipera ursini) and (Pseudopus apodus) included into Red Book of Kyrgyzstan. Tortoise concentration achieves to 3-5 individuals on 1m2 at the turn of the April and at the beginning of May. As a result of big anthropogenic load (annually deforestation, plough out of slope, cattle pasturing) this habitat was destroyed.
