Awareness Raising and Sustainable Land Management in Sarayonu District
The project aims to raise awareness of the local people, particularly farmers on the issue of land degradation. The farmers in Sarayonu District in Konya, follow tradtional and conventional agricultural practices. Most of the conventional methods, if not cause land degradation, aggrave the existing causes and worsen the conditions. With the project, there will be training material to be prepared addressing farmers, and on-the-job trainings organised by the NGO with the support of the provincial directorate of Minsitry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
