Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Since there is a body of information materials generated by the various projects in the form of research, audio-visual production, case documentation and comics, there is still a need to consolidate and organize these materials into user-friendly IEC materials that can be disseminated to a wider audience.
Capacity - Building Component
The experience of GEF-SGP in the Philippines demonstrated the effectiveness of community-based actions in addressing global problems vis-a-vis biodiversity conservation and climate change. This is rooted in the belief that local solutions to global environmental problems exist and have been successfully implemented.
