Natural Resource Management and Livelihood Improvement Project
Dolpa district of Nepal is one of the complex geotopography of the greater Himalayas, which is not only detached from the central planning but has hurdled for expansion of infrastructure development. The very large portion of this largest district of Nepal has been covered by perpetural snow, sloppy terrain forest and grazing meadows and only 076% of the total area is cultivated. Valuable herbs have placed this district in better position in context of Natural resource endowment index. The main aim of this project is initiation of environment conservation and raising the income level of rural population through management of Natural resource management. Successful completion of the project will result in conservation of medicinal herbs and other indigenous species will be protected as well as help in improving livelihood of the project.

Project focuses on participation of women community in decision making during implementation process with a view to improving their access and control over productive resources.
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
Solar panel installation, literacy class for business purpose, irrigation through new schemes, sustainable harvest management, terrace improvement and land management will further help in sustainable for livelihood.
