The Jitpur village comprises a small hillock in the river valley flanked by Nagarjun and Shivapuri Hill in north west of Kathmandu valley. The concept outlines to integrate various renewable energy technology such as ICS, SHS, briquette, duel power wind and solar system thereby lifting the socio economic condition of local people. Being near to the Kathmandu downtown, this would serve as a very good demonstration site. The planning was initiated to involve local people and also to carry out feasibility study for potential wind turbine.
