In order to better meet community needs and requests to supply development info and frequent trainings, a coalition of six NGOs-grantees has been granted a small project to contribute to establishment of so called Community Knowledge and Development Centre to conduct frequent trainings, to assist communities in developing project proposals as well as in implementing projects, to issue newsletters of GEF SGP Mongolia, publish SGP project posters and leaflets, provide communities with development information and many other activities targeted to community development. As of September 2006, the Centre was already established and is now functioning to supply rural communities with information and to conduct trainings. The training was held on 27-28 November for 17 persons from 6 SGP grant projects.
