Project development Goal :
To finish project for providing environmentally friendly energy for local community

Project Objectives :
1. To train local community to be a reliable micro-hydro operator
2. To make use the natural resources available by building a micro-hydro facility
3. To increase community welfare through economic activity which supported by micro hydro facility
4. To disseminate project information to community in other villages in order to encourage
replication of project

Expected Outputs :
1. Reduced the uses of conventional energy so that carbon emission could be reduced
2. Ability of local community in managing the micro-hydro facility in sustainable way
3. Availability of well educated and reliable micro-hydro operator
4. Emergence of community awareness on the importance of maintaining and protecting the forest resources
5. Emergence of awareness of community in the other villages on their water resources potential

Activities to be conducted:
In order to accomplish objective 1 : "To reduce the uses of conventional energy so that emission could be reduced", the activities to be conducted :
1. Continuing micro-hydro installation
2. Build the facility
3. Monitoring and Evaluation
4. Electricity installation
5. Training for turbine operator
6. Training for turbine and installation maintenance
7. Report compilation for GEF/SGP

In order to accomplish objective 2 : "To empower the community in order to be able to manage micro-hydro facility in sustainable way", the activities to be conducted :
1. Develop training material especially for book keeping
2. Training for micro-hydro management
3. Try out the implementation of micro-hydro facility - with GEF/SGP

In order to accomplish objective 3 :"To make use the natural resources available by building a micro-hydro facility", the activities to be conducted :
1. Prepare meeting materials
2. Prepare resource persons / speakers for the meetings
3. Identify the potential participants for the meeting (stakeholders)
4. Conduct the meeting
5. Produce report

In order to accomplish objective 4 : "To disseminate project information to community in other villages in order to encourage project replication", the activities to be conducted :
1. Prepare presentation materials
2. Select speakers
3. Identify participants
4. Conduct meeting
5. Report compilation
