According to one of the headquarter's instructions which indicates that it is possible to use a modest portion of the GEF grant allocation for capacity building (including workshops), monitoring and evaluation, or communications..., the NC invited proposals from qualified NGOs to conduct an evaluation of completed projects of GEF SGP Mongolia funded from the beginning of the programme in the country in 2003. This project is intended to conduct a comprehensive evaluation for 30 completed projects in 9 provinces of Mongolia and will report achievements, issues and problems and recommend on future directions and actions.
