The use of eco-materials and construction materials that are ecologically and economically viable will be promotted and dissenimated to municipalities through a building advisory service. Environmental impacts would be sustaintially reduced by susbstituting sun-dried clay bricks for cement bricks and by using micro concrete roofing for tin roofs. This service will provide advice, training, and on-site supervision to municipalities interested in incorporating these technologies into their housing programmes.

The Clay House Project is headquatered at Otjiwarongo and will work on invitation in ten communities in Central and Northern Namibia.
