Community Mushroom Farming Project
The project seeks to provide training for growing mushrooms, building mushroom houses, improving yields from vegetable crops, quality assurance and marketing. Additionally, value-addition and capacity for utilization of seaweed biomass will be supported.

The project will be located at Henties Bay town in Erongo Region, 70 kilometers north of Swakopmund.

Project sustainability
Continued technical support will be given by the Centre as well as the Henties bay Municipality council. High demand will generate income as already the local SPAR supermarket has pledged to buy large quantities of mushroom.
