Project development goal:
To increase community welfare through productive activities development

Project objectives:
1. To maintain and utilize the existing wind turbine facility
2. To provide water for farming / irrigation system and drink
3. To integrate between the development of wind turbine technology with community empowerment which is necessary to achieve project sustainability
4. To stimulate the emergence of productive activities once the water is well provided

Anticipated result of project :

1. The emergence of local community?s rules (through indigenous community?s institution) in maintaining and utilize the facility
2. The increasing community?s capacity in maintaining and implementing environmentally friendly farming system
3. Well maintained and well utilized wind turbine facility
4. The increasing economic activity of the local community
5. The increasing income of the community
6. The increasing community?s capability in marketing their farming products

Activities to be carried out under the project :

Preparation and planning stages

1. Project socialization to target community
2. Mentoring the target community, and encourage the establishment of community?s group handling : wind turbine and cooperative
3. Repairing wind turbine facility
4. Training on dry land farming
5. Training on revolving fund concept, system and technique
6. Marketing and training on marketing survey
7. Developing and improving institution capacity
8. Evaluating and project planning through community level discussion and bottom up planning
9. Assessing the possibility of seeking co-financing
