Conserving Marine Biodiversity Through Capacity Building: Semporna Priority Conservation Area (PCA)
The project is part of an initiative to conserve the rich biodiversity and resources of the Semporna area.The project will promote conservation of biodiversity through awareness raising on the importance of sustainable useof our depleting resources: and through capacity building to enable the community to mange their resources more sustainably and efficiently. Solar power is used to demonstrate how natural and renewable energy is linked to biodiversity conservation through climate change. The use of IT in capacity building will show the community their place within the landscape of conservation and sustainable use.
