Programme for Env?al Education for School Children
The project was all about dissemination of Environametal education in school children. It includes development of corriculum and revising the sylabus of schools fto include environmental aspects to educate the children about conservation, ecosystem, biota, and educating them in a very simple way eg. audio visulas, games to know the importance of birds, water management, trees, and animals etc. No co-financing was acheived in this project

Notable Community Participation
The entire block had 120 primary & middle schools that were established by the state government Orissa to eradicate illiteracy. Each school had 2-3 teachers from Humanities & science. The teachers of these schools were the major target groups for the organization in order to spread Environmental education in the area with the budding students of their schools. The organization formed several target groups of 40-50 teachers and planned to provide proper training to them. The organization also got in touch with the State government to adopt Environmental Education as an essential part of the syllabus in both formal and non-formal schools
Capacity - Building Component
The organization selected 40-50 ideal schools out of 120 Primary & Middle schools of the area in the starting phase of its program. The teacher from these selected schools having a science background and 10 years of teaching experiences were trained through several trainings and workshops arranged by the organization. A curriculum for the learners on environmental education was also prepared. Further the organizations with the technical support of experts also developed study materials to be used by the learners and were circulated in all other schools of the area.
