Sustainable Use and Management of Resources in Forest Buffer Areas for Improved Livelihoods
Bunyarunguru Environmental Conservation Project (BECA) is a community based organization operating in Bunyarunguru, Bushenyi district.
It is involved in the promotion of sustainable community initiatives aimed at reducing biodiversity loss, improving household incomes through diversification of livelihood options and conservation of forest resources through participatory approaches.
The GEF focal areas adressed are multifocal and thye local community is actively involved in the promotion of project activities.The project partners include the Bushenyi district local government. It targets women, men and youth in the local community.
