Establish an environmentally sustainable livelihood model for a community in Zuundelger village by supporting a spring ecosystem.
This grant is given to support a local NGO initiative to take conservation measures in Zuundelger village eco-system and life supporting spring, while enhancing their livelihoods by planting fruit and other trees. The local NGO intends to establish a field protecting forest belt and to fence the origin of a spring which is on the brink of drying up. Within the project framework, the project implementer will dig a hand well for watering fruit trees. Also they intend to establish a small community dam in order to improve the surrounding eco-system. A comprehensive involvement of community participation of the local area is the key goal of this project.
