Project was visited by NC in August 2005; waste-treatment plant is operational, some new institutions joined (eg. hostel for handicapped children;despite initial problems (co-financing,legal aspects concerning site etc - it was extremelly positive feeling after visit to this site , to see operational sewage-treatment plant (biological),satisfaction of all affected farms (a few did not joint this project, in 2005 they were apart as well); project was filmed by TV in 2004 as an example od succesful local activity, received the award in 2004 for the best TV film showing positive aspects of nature protection;
it is a long story in the first year of this project, bad luck etc etc (NC had to fight for co-financing, then land for sewagetreatment plant was captured by the bank for local community debt , a long story of UPs and DOWNS, where initial idea (promotion of biological sewage-treatment plant was on that time an unique ,original approach) was under a very serious treat due to the lack of experience of GEF/SGP and GRANTEE, whose based their activities on "goodwillthinking" and positive approach; finally - August 2005 visit proved - it was a good location, good investment, good example. Despite initial big problems.
