The project is able to install 300 improved cook stove and engaged 35 poor and landless households to develop public agroforestry land in 2 ha land. While developing the public agroforestry plot, they have planted 350 seedlings of different varieties. Likewise 2 women groups having 17 women members are also involved in briquette production. The project is also successful in establishing 5 school gardens in 5 schools, which have benefitted 3553 school children.

The briquette making group have targeted to produce 8,000 briquette per month for 6 months in a year. A small study carried out in the project site revealed that 1 person took 4.5 mandays to produce 168 briquette from 400kg of Eupatorium. Thus a single person can earn a net income of Rs 558 deducting all the labour cost. During the project tenure, 7000 pc of briquette and 802 mud stoves have been sold by the communities. Thus communities are able to earn USD1,000.

Assuming 30% saving of fuelwood with improved cooking stove, the project is able to save 277.12 ton of CO2 emission in the atmoshphere. (Assumming 1 household consumes 6 Kg of firewood and CO2 equivalent of firewood is 1.406).
